Youth Nurturing

BACKGROUND
India has the largest youth population in the world, based on research by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). With 356 million young people, there are evident gaps between the demands made upon young people by a fast-moving world, and the skills and tools they are equipped with to meet those demands. The impact of this gap can be seen in rising unemployment rates, decreasing job satisfaction levels and a general societal attitudes towards the youth.

OUR YOUTH NURTURING PROGRAM
Youngistaan Foundation is connected to young people and provides a platform to create change. It is our aim to build and empower the lives of each of our volunteers with opportunities to develop their skills to prepare them for their careers and futures.

We offer volunteers a program to develop their:

  • leadership skills
  • communication skills
  • personality development
  • life skills
  • career preparation (including resume building and interview skills)
  • basics of money management
  • mental health

We aim for all of our volunteers to become well equipped individuals who are ready for the futures they are now prepared to build.
