Women’s Day Webinar on Women Leaders

People around the world will be convening to discuss and engage in decision-making on the theme for Women’s Day in 2021: Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID-19 World

The COVID-19 pandemic brought women of all races and generations even further to the front lines in homes, hospitals, workplaces, local organizations and more to meet the urgent needs created by the disastrous global health crisis.

The COVID-19 lockdown also disproportionately affected girls and women – making them the hardest hit demographic. To address our response to this impact plus other issues, Youngistaan Foundation is inviting you to a webinar this Sunday on 07 March 2021 at 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

We are honored to be hosting the following speakers:
Sumathi Badugula – IPS, DIG, CID, Women Safety Wing
Akhila Yadav – Sarpanch of Madanapuram Village and the youngest Sarpanch in Telangana State
Supriya Yarlagadda – Chief Executive Officer at Annapurna Studios
Upasana Kamineni Konidela – Editor and Founder of URLife, Managing Director of Family Health Plan Insurance TPA Ltd., Vice Chairperson CSR of Apollo Hospitals Group
Kaus Manjita – CEO of Kubric

Moderated by: Uma Sudhir – Executive Director of NDTV
Live Music by: Rinky Sharma – Singer / Songwriter

We will collectively celebrate women leaders and their achievements which have promoted and inspired women and girls, and advance dialogue on ways in which women in leadership roles can remove barriers and drive positive change to create a gender-equal world.

This Sunday’s event on March 7th is the first part of a 4-webinar series on Women in Leadership. Next Sunday’s webinar on March 14th will be facilitated by Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge (TASK). Join us every Sunday (March 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th) to learn and participate in robust discussions and Q&A sessions all month long! Digital certificates will be awarded to those who have attended all 4 webinars.
