Meet our board members:
Umamaheswara Rao Jaggena

Umamaheswara Rao Jaggena is an early childhood education expert with over 20 years in the education sector, including 12 in ECCE. Holding a master’s in education from NCERT (RIEM), he has worked with the Azim Premji Foundation in
curriculum development, pedagogy, mentorship, and program management.
He contributed to the NCF-Foundation Stage framework, “Jadui Pitara” resources for NCERT, and the Early Learning Assessment Tool (ELA). He has led ECCE program transformations in Puducherry and capacity building across states, and currently teaches postgraduate and diploma programs at Azim Premji University, Bangalore.
Rachita Pati

With a background in technology, the social sector, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and global inclusion, Rachita brings a multidimensional lens to everything she leads. Currently heading global inclusion efforts at Synchrony, she focuses on bridging gaps and fostering spaces where equity and belonging can truly take root. She has also contributed to the company’s broader responsibility
agenda through CSR leadership, working to diversify projects and ensure outcomes that are intentional, strategic and sustainable. Her approach is insight-led, anchored in dialogue and measurable progress and driven by continuous learning, alignment, and a shared commitment to long-term impact—believing that progress is as much about the process as it is about the outcome.
Prannay Kumar

Prannay Kumar is a Development and Innovation Sector professional, currently serving as the Head of Partnerships and Government Relations at the Telangana Innovation Cell, Ministry of IT, Government of Telangana. With over 5 years experience, he has led impactful initiatives across government sensitization, rural innovation, public procurement and ecosystem development.
Prannay works closely with senior government officials and private sector leaders to drive open innovation, strategic collaborations and policy-aligned programs. He also supports social startups through mentorship, strategic connections and access to national and international platforms.
Raghavendra

Raghavendra joined Youngistaan Foundation in 2015 as a volunteer in the food program and has since become a key part of it. He also helps with IT support, Finance and serves as a board member, supporting the organization’s growth. Outside of Youngistaan, Raghavendra works with Deloitte,
balancing his job with his passion for making a strong social impact.
Phaneeth

Phaneeth joined Youngistaan Foundation in 2015 as an Education Program volunteer. After contributing to the fundraising team, he now oversees the organization’s finances and serves as a board member, ensuring the financial sustainability of the foundation and playing a key role in its strategic direction. Phaneeth is employed with McAfee and his journey from volunteer to board member highlights his strong commitment and mission.
Raj Praveen

Raj Praveen has been associated with Youngistaan Foundation since 2014, starting as a volunteer with the organization and now leading the Food and Livelihood Program. He focuses on hunger relief and supporting homeless people, while also serving as a board member of Youngistaan Foundation. Praveen is a Financial Editor at Factset Financial Services, where he leverages his expertise in finance.
Nikitha Devi

Nikitha joined Youngistaan Foundation in 2018 with a passion for helping others. She now leads the Animal Support Program and serves as a board member. Under her leadership, the program has grown to provide vital care for animals in need. Nikitha also works with Angel One, balancing her career with her dedication to animal welfare.
