We are pleased to introduce the advisor to Youngistaan Foundation, whose expertise and guidance is sure to steer the organization to making a greater impact in the lives of the people we work with.


Jayesh Ranjan is a senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1992 batch currently serving in the Government of Telangana. He is a highly prominent bureaucrat known for his decades-long tenure leading the state’s Information Technology and Industries departments, where he was instrumental in establishing T-Hub and attracting major global tech investments to Hyderabad.

As of February 2026, he holds the following key positions:

Special Officer for GHMC, Cyberabad, and Malkajgiri Corporations: Following the conclusion of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) council term on February 11, 2026, he was appointed to oversee these three newly reorganised civic bodies.

Special Chief Secretary (MA&UD): He serves as the Special Chief Secretary to the Government for the Metropolitan Area and Urban Development department, a role he transitioned into in late 2025.

Additional Portfolios: He maintains additional charges for Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture (YAT&C), Sports, and serves as the Director of Archaeology.
